The Maelstrom Rifle, which I received so graciously from the rather eccentric Mr.Chac, was a great addition to my weapon load out. The snail-shaped water compressors fit snugly under the Intrepid Cannon's main barrel and were responsible for producing the iconic triple pointed projectile that defined this weapon. Upon contact with a surface, the three sided shot would burst into a large bubble. Three such bubbles could exist simultaneously before one popped. This odd after effect did little to diminish the awesome stopping power of the initial blast.  |
