     The AT-1000s were, as the name implies, Anarkum Technologies' 1000 series defense robots. They were stationary turrets that would lob explosives in large arcs towards my Intrepid. Their accuracy was somewhat lackadaisical because these shells would seldom hit me directly. Nonetheless, the 1000s' ballistic attacks were unpredictable and this added to their threat. Perhaps a design flaw in the 1000 series, whenever I moved behind one of them they would cease firing entirely. Their targeting sensors, it seems, were only fashioned onto the fronts of the models.
