     The Phalanx Core was the first boss robot I encountered. It was essentially a giant imobile core protected by two Phalanx Cannons (which looked suspiciously similar to Reapers). It was easy to defeat and offered up an interesting account of the incident at the Nuclear Lab after I defeated it. The evidence list I compiled from the various boss robots remains classified, though, so that's all I'll say on the issue.
