     Johan Anarkum, the great engineer, visionary, and scientist himself. Anarkum was born in Forstat to unimaginable poverty. He rose above the squalid slums he grew up in and single-handedly fashioned a technological empire. He is a hero to the people of the Forstat Commonwealth, a great ally to the UFT, and just a little bit mad. I had, perhaps unfairly, painted the doctor as an eccentric recluse teetering between the depths of genius and insanity. In some ways I was right, but Anarkum's personal story is a much more complex and tragic tale. Not the simple mad scientist or helpless victim, Anarkum was a passionate man whose inner turmoil was a catalyst for a deeper struggle outside of his own mind. I showed Anarkum pity and respect, but not mercy when we fought.
