This is one of the many advertisements the UFT was supposed to send out
to prospective Colonists in order to goad them into joining the second
wave of immigrants headed for Cantos Minor. The official story about
the Colony at the time was that everything was fine and dandy. However,
people began asking questions when they received no word from their
close relatives at New Haven. This ad campaign was canceled due to its
poor timing, but I happen to have friends at the firm that was assigned
the job and now present the ad here. Another version
was made with the slogan: "Come to the New Haven Colony...where nothing
could possibly go wrong", but it was made by a disgruntled artist and
was most likely a joke.
